A little help getting started.

Which Mac download should I choose?

Open the Apple menu and choose About This Mac. If you see Chip followed by an Apple M-series name, choose Apple Silicon in the Mac card. If you see Processor with an Intel name, choose Intel in the Mac card. Open the downloaded disk image and move Framio into Applications.

How do I install on Windows or Linux?

On Windows, run the downloaded installer and follow its prompts. On Linux, use the AppImage provided for 64-bit Intel and AMD systems; your desktop may require you to allow it to run as a program. Screen capture on Linux also depends on your compositor and screen-sharing permissions.

Why isn’t there a download for my computer yet?

Framio is still in development. Each card shows an installer only when a release has been published for that platform. A platform without a published installer is labelled “Not released yet.” We do not link to unfinished files.

Will Framio ask for screen capture permission?

macOS requires Screen Recording access before the app can capture your display. Enable Framio in System Settings → Privacy & Security, then restart the app if asked. On Linux, your desktop may present a screen-sharing prompt. You can still open and annotate existing images without capturing a display.
